Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Applications Analyst to join the Epic Ambulatory team as an analyst for a Willow Ambulatory implementation. This is a remote position and the candidate can be located anywhere in the United States. This is a contract with the possibility of full-time hire.
* MUST BE CERTIFIED in Ambulatory Willow *
What you will need:
- Knowledge in previous Ambulatory installations
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a healthcare informatics related field.
- Experience with Epic Ambulatory and/or Willow Ambulatory.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in “out of the box thinking” and opportunities for innovation while continuing to focus on the importance of standardization.
- “Self-starter” who takes initiative to find solutions and work independently
- Experience in Willow Inventory is a plus
- Experience in Willow Inpatient is a plus
- Experience in Beacon is a plus
What you will do:
- Implement and support the Willow Ambulatory module, including participating in design sessions, configuration/build, providing go-live support, and coordinating with the Epic training teams.
- Participate in the project management life cycle of Ambulatory related projects.
- Support Medical Group and Community Connect offices with weekday on-call support once every 2 weeks and weekends once every 2 months.
- Implement enhancements of EpicCare Ambulatory and supporting modules such as Willow Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Care Everywhere, Nurse Triage, Wisdom, EpicCare Link.
- Assist with innovative resolution to operational workflow issues that involve the use of clinical information systems and decision support.
- Maintain up to date Epic Ambulatory and Willow Ambulatory Certification.
- Ensure clear communication in all areas so that expectations are met.
- Provide support to Ambulatory Operations to implement EHR and workflow efficiencies in line with organizational goals.
- Complete application build for projects and other change requests.
- Build prototypes to determine feasibility when warranted.
- Participate in appropriate user forums, planning sessions, and status meetings.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and the management team as needed.
