Overview:Our organization continues to grow and as part of that, we’re looking for an Applications Analyst. In this role, you will mine, retrieve and monitor data from numerous websites/applications/data using a variety of applications and tools. The primary objective of this role is to review, analyze and report on web traffic, user behavior, and functionality while looking for trends, insights, and areas for improvement. This position should consider business goals and objectives when making recommendations to developers, other business team members, and stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you’ll be in our San Diego office every Wednesday alongside the rest of the team. You can work from home/virtually/remote the rest of the week if you’d prefer.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the design and content management activities related to the organization's product initiatives, analyzing and researching customer behaviors, and ensuring the delivery of high quality and customer-centric user experiences across all of the organization's products and services.
- Specializes in analyzing and researching customer behaviors through multi-dimensional analysis of geographies, customer and product types, traffic sources, and channels (e.g., mobile, tablet, desktop).
- Specializes in delivering high quality, customer-centric user experiences that provide a consistent and device-appropriate experience across the organization's digital channels and products.
- Conducts cross-channel initiatives and turns customer feedback and behavior into actionable insights.
- Assists in designing the Exchange to Exchange (E2E) user experience and will incorporate the latest innovative technologies.
- Designs products and services to ensure customer-centric user experience
- Researches customer/user behaviors and preferences for product solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1-3 years of professional IT experience
- User experience analysis, design and evaluation skills
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
- Knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
- Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
- Experience with Windows Server environments
- Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and math/statistical knowledge
