As an Epic Analyst specializing in Care Everywhere, Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), Data Mapping, and Interoperability, you will be instrumental in optimizing and advancing the exchange of healthcare information across diverse systems. This role requires expertise in Epic applications, particularly in the areas of interoperability, Data Mapping, and ensuring seamless connectivity across various healthcare environments. Additional application coverage as organization needs occur.

Job Duties:
1.Care Everywhere Implementation:
Lead the configuration of Epic's Care Everywhere module to facilitate health information exchange between different healthcare organizations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand interoperability requirements and tailor Care Everywhere functionalities accordingly.
2.HIE Integration:
Interface with external Health Information Exchanges to establish and maintain connections for the exchange of patient information.
Ensure compliance with HIE standards and protocols, facilitating secure and accurate data sharing.
3.Data Mapping and Transformation:
Design and implement Data Mapping strategies to ensure accurate translation of healthcare data between disparate systems.
Collaborate with data analysts to transform and standardize data formats for seamless interoperability.
4.Interoperability Standards Adherence:
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to healthcare interoperability.
Ensure Epic configurations align with relevant standards, such as HL7, CCD, CDA, and FHIR.
5.Collaboration with IT Teams:
Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues, ensuring smooth data flow between systems.
Collaborate on system integrations and upgrades to enhance interoperability capabilities.
6.User Training and Support:
Liaison to training and end-users, including clinicians and support staff, on utilizing Epic functionalities related to interoperability.
Offer support and guidance on data exchange processes and troubleshooting interoperability challenges.
7.Documentation and Reporting:
Document Data Mapping strategies, configurations, and interoperability workflows within the Epic system.
Generate reports to track and analyze data exchange metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required, Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for degree.
Experience:
Two (2) years related experience is required.
Epic certification in relevant modules, particularly those related to interoperability (Care Everywhere, HIE) is preferred.
Experience in implementing and supporting healthcare interoperability solutions is preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare data standards and exchange protocol is preferred.
Additional Licenses and Certifications
Certification in relevant clinical information system is required.
