Epic Application Analyst Ambulatory - Associate

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, responsible for building and testing clinical information system processes. Interacts professionally with leadership, faculty and staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Documentation: Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.

2. Self-Directed: Self-motivated and directed.

3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to resolve complex issues.

4. Communication: Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions both written and verbally; deliver effective presentations.

5. Customer Service: A solid customer service acumen and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders.

6. Programming/Systems: Knowledge of clinical system software, Information System software and/or Electronic Health Records.

Job Duties:

1. Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions.

2. Prepares detailed program specifications and flowcharts, and coordinates the system's installation with operations.

3. Develops, documents, and adheres to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems.

4. Utilizes and understands the application to support operations, while providing basic support, troubleshooting and project management support.

5. Utilizes and understands the application to support users and operations.

6. Supports and assists users in identifying and resolving issues.

7. Performs ongoing system build and maintenance.

8. Tests application components according to a test plan and instructions.

1. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's degree is required; however, equivalent years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Experience:

Up to one (1) year related experience is required.
