Job Summary: As a Senior Epic Application Analyst specializing in MyChart, MyChart Bedside, and Welcome, you will play a pivotal role in the design, configuration, optimization, and support of Epic Systems' patient engagement modules. This role involves a high level of expertise in implementing and enhancing functionalities related to patient portals, bedside applications, and the Welcome platform. The Senior Analyst will lead projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to the strategic evolution of patient-centric technologies within the healthcare environment.
Job Duties:
- MyChart Configuration and Optimization:
Lead the configuration and optimization of MyChart to enhance patient engagement and improve the overall user experience. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement customizations within MyChart.
- MyChart Bedside Implementation:
Spearhead the implementation of MyChart Bedside, ensuring seamless integration with inpatient workflows and enhancing patient interactions during their hospital stay. Collaborate with clinical staff and end-users to optimize MyChart Bedside functionalities.
- Welcome Platform Enhancement:
Drive enhancements and updates to the Welcome platform to streamline the patient onboarding process and improve overall satisfaction. Collaborate with registration and administrative teams to ensure the Welcome platform aligns with organizational goals.
- Project Leadership:
Take a leadership role in Epic projects, coordinating efforts across various teams and departments. Provide guidance to junior analysts and support staff involved in the projects.
- User Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing MyChart, MyChart Bedside, and Welcome. Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and support, addressing complex issues and providing solutions.
- Workflow Analysis and Optimization:
Conduct in-depth workflow analyses to identify opportunities for optimization within MyChart, MyChart Bedside, and Welcome. Implement changes to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction in collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Document configuration changes, project plans, and workflows. Generate reports and analyses to track key performance indicators and measure the success of patient engagement initiatives.

Expereince:
- Epic certification in relevant modules (MyChart, Welcome) is highly preferred.
- Epic certification must be maintained per Epic Corporation standards.
- A minimum of five (5) years of directly related Epic experience including in-depth knowledge of software development/build lifecycles.
- Patient engagement modules preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (4 years of comparable experience may be substituted for a degree).
