Job Description
The School Sisters of St. Francis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a Catholic Women’s Religious Community, and non-profit organization is looking for a full-time Environmental Services Manager.
This exempt position is 80 hours per pay period. Typical hours are 6:00am-2:30pm Monday through Friday. Occasional rotating weekend and/or Holiday coverage as needed.
SUMMARY: The Environmental Services Manager aids the Facility Director in the implementation of department activities, polices and procedures, and the planning and directing of the day-to-day-operations of the Environmental Services/Laundry Department. The position supervises and coordinates the assignments of employees primarily engaged in the interior cleaning of buildings and the laundering services. The Environmental Services Manager performs the duties of an Environmental Services/Laundry Aide as needed.
DEPAARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming hallways, stairs, office space, bathrooms, common areas, and patient rooms.
• Emptying and sanitizing trash and garbage containers.
• Assisting with laundry on a rotating schedule
• Performs cleaning tasks as needed.
• Floor Cleaning
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 3 year Supervisory experience required.
- 2 years of Housekeeping experience required.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
