CSEngineering is looking to add Environmental Managers (Senior through SME level) to our growing team! The positions will support the US Space Force and Space Systems Command in developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and policies, including compliance with government health and safety regulations. In this role, you will support the Emergency Response Team and other employee training such as life safety, industrial hygiene, chemical safety, and fire hazards. You will respond to emergencies, incidents, and accidents. Investigate causes and recommend corrective actions. You will conduct safety surveys to identify and mitigate occupational hazards. Complete required federal, state, and local government reports relating to safety.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Senior:

1. Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, designs systems and procedures.
2. Conducts work simplification and measurement studies and prepares operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
3. Leads Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) tasks for the SSC Environmental Management Office and provides expertise to program offices for implementation and compliance mandates.
4. Leads the development and evaluation of Programmatic Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Evaluation (PESHE) documents.
5. Reviews, develops, and integrates environmental compliance, hazardous material management, biological environmental health, and pollution prevention.

• SME:

1. Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.
2. Performs detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
3. Consults with clients to define needs or problems and supervise studies.
4. Leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
5. Provides Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) guidance to the SSC Environmental Management Office, providing expertise to program offices for implementation and compliance mandates.
6. Develop and/or evaluates Programmatic Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Evaluation (PESHE) documents.
7. Reviews, develops, and integrates environmental compliance, hazardous material management, biological environmental health, and pollution prevention.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Current Top Secret or TS/SCI or TS/SCI eligible

• 10+ years (Senior) or 15+ years (SME) of experience in Environmental Management. Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH), PESHE, EIAP, etc.
• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Policy or a related field.

Preferred Certifications and Qualifications:

• PhD in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Policy or a related field is a plus.
• Specialized training or certifications in Occupational Safety and Health.
