Syndeo Staffing Central Kansas is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor. $68,000 - $86,000/year

What you would be working on:

· Evaluates, Identifies, and delivers site specific EHS training.

· Evaluates and advises on hazard identification.

· Leads and conducts EHS inspections, while monitoring the quality and effectiveness of inspections and contractor safety plans.

· Monitors and audits contractor performance.

· Participates in on-site investigative processes and evaluating corrective actions taken for completeness.

· Coaches, trains, and mentors EHS Specialists, Coordinators and Trainers in addition to other employees.

· Conduct periodic compliance and management system audits and self-assessments at the facility to ensure compliance with EHS.

· Other duties as assigned.

What will help you be successful:

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.

· Holds safety certification from BCSP (ASP, CSP, OHST or SMS)

· 5 or more years or progressive EHS program experience at an industrial or manufacturing site.

· Knowledge of OSHA & EPA requirements.
