Here's what you'd do:
- The Environmental, Health, and Safety Senior Associate will assist the EHS Manager in administration, leadership, and oversight of all activities related to the health, safety, and environmental programs by OSHA, federal, state, and the client's policies and procedures.
- Work with Project Managers and Functional Areas to ensure employee safety and environmental compliance.
- Participates and supports developing, implementing, and maintaining an Environmental Health and Safety Management System that conforms to internal and external standards and requirements.
- Assist in developing and deploying programs to prevent and control Environmental Health and safety risks, including compliance with air permits, construction permits, solid and hazardous wastes, wastewater operations, release notifications, and all environmental reporting requirements.
- Conducts site-wide environmental, health, and safety audits, develops appropriate corrective actions, communicates results, and follows up on issues or concerns through completion.
- Ensures all environmental, health, and safety incidents are promptly reported.
- Assist the investigation team and track the implementation of correction action plans through completion.
- Participates in the review of projects that involve proposed modification of any existing process, equipment, or material as well as proposed introduction of any new process, equipment, or material to ensure compliance with all general Environmental Health and safety rules as well as air pollution control, stormwater management, RCRA, or other such permitting requirements.
- Assist in site sustainability efforts per corporate expectations, including waste minimization, energy/carbon reduction, water reduction, and wastewater minimization.
- Regularly informs management in assigned areas of overall EHS compliance at the site, including outstanding issues, progress on closing gaps, and general opportunities for improvement.
- Maintains current awareness of applicable federal, state, local, and corporate Environmental Health and safety requirements through participation in professional organizations, professional education, and training programs.
- Works well with others/in a team environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $30 - $35/hr.
Hours: 980 Work Schedule (1st Shift).
Length: Temp to Perm (12 Months).

- Associate Degree.
- Minimum of 4 years experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
