Dining Server Associate

Creates a great dining experience for Wickshire residents and guests by assisting the Dining department in all functions including:

Meal preparation, meal serving, and dining room and kitchen clean up.

Essential Functions:
1. Serves meals and busses tables with a warm, friendly, courteous, respectful and engaging demeanor.
2. Keeps the environment safe, clean, and free of clutter.
3. Assists in preparing foods for special events.
4. Sets up and breaks down dining room tables and wait stations prior to and following meals.
5. Clears tables, replaces linens, sets tables, and ensures that the dining room is clean and attractive.
6. Cleans equipment, furniture, appliances, floors, drains, storage area, refrigerator, freezer and sinks according to schedule.
7. Stores and retrieves residents’ assistive devices during mealtimes, ensuring that safety is never compromised.
8. Assists with washing and storing pots, pans, dishware, and silverware, using proper sanitation techniques.
9. Completes all mandatory compliance, HIPAA and state and federal regulatory training as required.
10. Maintains appropriate degree of confidentiality. This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of kitchen basics, food handling and cooking procedures. Certifications, Licenses, and other Special Requirements: There are no required certifications, licenses, or other special requirements.
