SalaryEnSafe is accepting applications for a Junior to Mid-Level Environmental Scientist/Engineer or Geologist in our Houston, TX office. What You Will Be Doing:
- Conducting site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, soil vapor, drinking water, and building materials)
- Field documentation
- Performing Phase I/II environmental site assessments
- Preparation of work plans and technical reports
- Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory EHS specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; performing EHS inspections at client facilities, and preparation of plans and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in geology, engineering, biology, environmental science, or equivalent sciences
- 2 - 5 years of experience
- Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Regional travel (25% expected)
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- EIT, GIT, PE, or PG
- Master’s degree in a related field
