Environmental Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering and Environmental Services firm urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Engineer in Burlington MA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical memoranda and detailed reports pertaining to field investigations, design studies, and construction activities
• Support remediation activities (conceptual to closure) for mining and industrial operations and facilities
• Assist with environmental sampling programs
• Process and analyze GIS data
• Familiar with remote sensing programs and field equipment
• Remote sensing data collection, processing, and analysis via drones and satellite
• Geotechnical monitoring via remote sensing from conceptual stage, project execution, to final delivery
• Perform drone and survey equipment programming, data collection, data processing, and maintenance
• Interface and develop relationships with our clients; develop and lead teams; develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules; develop and lead site investigations and characterization; develop detailed designs; execute and review calculations; and prepare expertly written reports
• Assists with mine planning projects
• Performs other related responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor
• Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather

Requirements

• BS or MS in Environmental Engineering or closely related discipline and a P.E. license are required
• 5 years of experience in remediation projects with a focus on remedial design
• Federal Superfund Feasibility Study and Design experience a requirement
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent communication skills are essential and strong writing skills are required
• Must be flexible, client focused and self-motivated
