Environment Management Analyst/Release Train Engineer
Remote in AL, GA, MS, TN, TX, FL, VA, NC, SC, DC, IN
3 year contract – sorry no C2C (potential for C2H)

We are seeking an experienced Environment Management Analyst – Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) with a robust background in modern CI/CD methodologies and tools, including Azure DevOps. We desire a candidate with experience with Oracle Utilities solutions such as C2M.  The ideal candidate will have agile experience, be well-versed in using Jira for issue and project tracking, proficient in change management procedures utilizing BMC Remedy, and have working experience with deployment tools such as myCelium EDMS.  The candidate will also be responsible for tracking many different environments in the SDLC pipeline for two major releases.  A critical component of the job is superior communications skills to keep stakeholders informed of environment activities via several communication methods such as email, dashboards, etc.
Need someone that can help track of all the environments from a patching, deployment, maintenance and refreshes and be able to communicate that with stakeholders.  Experience with DevOps, middleware, and infrastructure experience with really good organizational and communication skills ideal 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills) 

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in an RTE role
• Hands-on experience in managing CI/CD for Oracle C2M and Oracle Utilities applications desired
• Prior experience managing CI/CD pipelines and understanding of DevOps practices.
• Strong proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, BMC Remedy, and deployment tools like myCelium EDMS
• Good understanding of information technology including application development technologies and methodologies. 
• Technical background in software engineering and delivery. 
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile. 
• Ability to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both management and technical teams. 
• The individual will need to be able to function in a fast-paced changing environment, manage changing priorities, be responsive, dependable, and discerning when supporting the business and coworkers.  
• The individual must multi-task efficiently, manage projects, work independently with little supervision, and keep assignments organized by planning their work and meeting project deadlines.
• Collaboration skills and ability to work on a team. 

 
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Specify major duties performed by the job and % of time spent on duties. 

• Development, implementation, and support of a robust environment management strategy. 
• Oversee the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps and integrate it effectively with Oracle C2M and other Oracle Utilities applications.
• Communicating and collaborating with project and technical teams on environment requests, delivery, and support. 
• Ensure the creation and decommissioning of environments is done appropriately. 
• Effectively leverage CI/CD to minimize need for manual migrations and environment prep work. 
• Review and modify CI/CD processes and standards, iteratively. 
• Collaborate closely with development, testing, and operations teams to improve and optimize software delivery processes through myCelium EDMS.
• Drive change management processes using BMC Remedy, ensuring changes are smoothly implemented and meet the business needs.
• Support teams in estimating work effort and planning feature/capability delivery in Jira, harmonizing with overall epic priorities.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance policies and procedures, including the management of risks and the resolution of impediments.
• Utilize deployment tools effectively to manage software releases across various environments. 
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, issues, and successes within the release train.

Disclosure:  The pay range for this position is $60.00 to $75.00 base salary. (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
