ENTRY-LEVEL OFFICE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Trips 2 Italy is a US-based tour operator that specializes in providing travelers with expert and high-quality travel services throughout Italy. We are looking for a highly motivated Entry-Level Office Assistant to assist with the responsibility of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate must be able to execute a variety of office support tasks and able to perform in a multi-task environment. He or she should be flexible, proactive, and take ownership of all assignments. Proficiency in Microsoft
Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Internet is required. Exceptional grammar knowledge, writing, and editing skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to word-processing, typing, e-mailing, data entry, and processing mail
- Greet visitors and callers in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party
- Provide visitors with information and direct them accordingly
- Photocopies, scans, and files appropriate documents
- Preparing travel itinerary proposals and presentations
- Edits documents for accuracy
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Assists with organizing events when necessary
- Conducts research and compiles data
- Signs for delivered packages and distributes them to the appropriate recipient
- Maintaining supply inventory
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas
- Perform other related duties as required
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; associate degree preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment
- Ability to perform tasks with high business ethical standards and confidentiality
Position Type
Part-time, Monday to Friday 9 AM – 6 PM. Weekends may be required during rare special events.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
