Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the lubrication of the corrugator and converting machinery, playing a crucial role in our operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage Lubricant inventory to ensure seamless production.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team on plant projects and major rebuilds.
- Maintain records of the lubrication completed.
- Execute inspections on bearings, shafts, chains, belts, sprockets, gearboxes, etc., while lubricating. Report findings to Maintenance Lead/Manager.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of Maintenance Tech, Lubricator Tech, Industry Maintenance Tech experience.
- Completion of Maintenance Certification program in lieu of work experience.
- Applicants are required to possess their own basic tools. Specialty tools are available for borrowing, and in the event that personal tools are damaged during work at the plant, we ensure prompt replacement.
Skills:
- Read and follow detailed instructions on factory masters.
- Be proficient on the use of measuring tools as tape measure, calipers, PI tape, etc.
- Calculate figures and amounts, applying basic high school math concepts.
- Solve problems in standardized situations involving one or more concrete variables.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of hand tools.
- Experience with various lubricants.
- Exposure to pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- PIT driving experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly stand, walk, talk, or hear.
- Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally sit.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Utilize specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work on small or tight spaces.
- Work in high temperature environment.
