The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Entry Level Engineering Technician to join the Air Dominance Platform Systems team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
The Engineering Technician will support teams who engineer the Environmental Cooling, Hydraulics, Fuel, Mechanisms, Armament, Electrical, Equipment Installation and Crew Systems for F-15 and F/A-18 aircraft. The Engineering Technician will be called upon to update or define systems installations in NX. The Technician will also be tasked to monitor team progress on key engineering quality metrics and generate reports for those metrics.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Engineering work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Experience with 3D solid modeling software applications (e.g. NX, Catia, CADD)
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience)
