Entry Level Associate Attorney Or Law Clerk

A growing boutique Matrimonial and Family law firm with offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Hoboken, New Jersey, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Candidate Responsibilities:
*Draft motions;

*E-file documents;

*Prepare pleadings, briefs, and statements of net worth;

*Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials as needed;

*Prepare interrogatories, discovery demands, subpoenas, and respective responses;

*Appear in various courts throughout the tri-state area;

*Direct cases through the litigation cycle;

*Handle several cases simultaneously; and

*Represent clients zealously in divorce, custody, child support, and other family matters brought in Supreme Court, Family Court, and any concurrent matters.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate is a talented, highly motivated attorney with excellent writing and analytical skills and a demonstrated interest in matrimonial and family law. Court experience, civil litigation, and a strong background in finance/taxation are a plus. The successful candidate will be given his or her own caseload and will work directly with clients.

*New York and New Jersey Bar Admission (or Pending) Required

Hybrid Role. New York and New Jersey.

Full-time Salary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience) Benefits: Bonus
