As an Entertainment Operations Premium Experiences Manager, you will lead the Entertainment Operations Premium offerings for the fleet of Disney Cruise Line, ensuring the development, execution, and sustainability of the operational vision. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate shore side and shipboard teams, including but not limited to, Disney Live Entertainment, Operations Integration, Groups, and Marketing/Media partners, to sustain Premium Service experiences. You will proactively seek opportunities for innovation and evolution to elevate Guest satisfaction levels while effectively managing disruptions to daily operations, as well as maintain vendor relationships to secure cost-effective and high-quality operational supplies.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the efficient execution of operational events by coordinating with key shoreside partners and integrating with shipboard operations teams to minimize disruptions.

  • Ensure revenue goals for Entertainment Operations premium offerings are met or surpassed.

  • Maintain regular and transparent communication with Shipboard Entertainment Leadership, Shoreside Entertainment Leadership, and DLE partners.

  • Manage shipboard entertainment leaders in delivering Premium Experiences, setting standards, and providing necessary equipment & supplies for execution while fostering seamless collaboration.

  • Collaborate with Walt Disney World Premium Entertainment Offerings teams to integrate land-based efficiencies into the shipboard Premium Services operations for enhanced Guest and Crew experiences.

  • Lead the premium craft experience onboard, from inception to implementation, while continually generating innovative ideas to meet the evolving needs of our guests.

  • Establish effective partnerships with other lines of business and cultivate teamwork among shipboard and shore teams.

  • Determine business priorities for Premium Services and provide support for their execution.

  • Act as a change agent to integrate processes, eliminate barriers, and align performance goals.

  • Manage logistics of additional casts in partnership with project & production teams. This could include leading a team of performers.

  • Coordinate character schedules and build grids for new offerings and itineraries such as Days at Sea, Holidays, etc.

  • Attend fittings for incoming casts to gather photo documentation for approval process.

  • Conduct audits of onboard Premium Services experiences and implement vital changes.

  • Partner with Training Staffing & Standards Manager on documentation and training materials for LOG & FGs.

  • Manage shipboard requests for new offerings through the Entertainment Operations request form.

  • Foster an environment of trust and respect by empowering leaders and crew members at all levels to achieve the highest level of Guest service across the fleet and islands.

  • Partner with leadership in capital project planning and submission for Entertainment Premium Services.

  • Collaborate with new build and dry dock teams in planning initiatives for Premium Offerings areas.

  • Champion technology initiatives for Premium Offerings.

  • Review collateral materials and media requests for Marketing and Public Relations teams to ensure accuracy.

  • Influence key partners and actively participate in planning meetings for Marketing Photo and Video shoots, Media, Public Relations, Charters, and other special events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in Entertainment Operations within The Walt Disney Company or similar.

  • Demonstrated adaptability and lifelong learning mentality.

  • Proven ability to take initiative and achieve results independently in a fast-changing environment.

  • Work authorization for the United States of America.

  • Established ability to lead a team of performers in a fast passed, constantly evolving environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.

  • Ability to travel, work in unfinished locations and be adaptable to fluctuating workload and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Smartsheet

  • Knowledge of shipboard character build grids or room utilizations while following and upholding appropriate protocols, MLC requirements and fostering a strong partnership with Labor Scheduling Team.

  • Proven working experience in Disney project management including operationalizing specialty cruises.

  • Prior experience in a shipboard Entertainment operation, with a solid understanding of shipboard Entertainment roles.

  • Proven knowledge and understanding of MLC policies and procedures and execution of schedules in compliance.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
