General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Business Architect, Senior Staff to join our Enterprise Architect and Data Team. As a key leader, you will play an instrumental role in designing and implementing the organizational structure, processes, and systems that enable our business to achieve its strategic objectives. This includes working closely with stakeholders to identify business goals and requirements and creating a roadmap for achieving those goals through the development of effective business processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience with business process modeling, Enterprise Business Architecture, and associated tools. They will possess strong project management skills, seasoned business acumen, and the ability to translate complex subjects into actionable recommendations for teams and stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate should have a deep and expansive knowledge of both the semiconductor industry and core global business processes, and be passionate about driving innovation, ensuring architectural integrity, and providing business strategy expertise in a collaborative environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identifying and documenting business capabilities, processes, and functions
• Developing and maintaining Business Architecture models, roadmaps, and standards
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements
• Defining and implementing process improvement initiatives to optimize business performance
• Ensuring that business solutions align with the organization's overall strategic direction
• Monitoring and evaluating business performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Providing guidance and support to other departments and teams in the organization to ensure alignment with the overall Business Architecture.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
• 12+ years' experience in enterprise architecture, business process management, or related field
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF • Strong understanding of BIZBOK concepts
• Understanding of business processes modeling tools and techniques such as BPMN or ArchiMate
• Conceptual understanding of data modeling and systems design
• Ability to translate business needs into architectural solutions
• Extremely high level of attention to detail in written communication, documentation, and presentation material
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, as the position requires working closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong leadership and change management skills to drive the adoption of new business processes and systems
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in business administration • AWS, Azure, or GCP Certification
• Deep semiconductor industry experience
• Proficiency in advanced data analytics and statistics
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale enterprise transformation projects
• Advanced understanding of financial modeling and budgeting in relation to IT investments and ROI
• Experience in stakeholder management at the executive level
• Experience working in or with international teams, understanding global business practices and challenges

Pay range:
$154,000.00 - $231,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
