Job description

The Enterprise Business Systems Manager (EBSM) will work in the Enterprise Project Management Team to achieve Harbor Freight Tools’ long-term growth strategy to be the best place to work and the best place to shop. The EBSM will be responsible for supporting the project management system, Workfront, and process improvement to achieve a more efficient, user-friendly, and accurate environment for 2000+ projects per year, touching hundreds of colleagues company wide. The PISM will work with teams across the organization, including, but not limited to Project Management, Product Development, Marketing, Global Sourcing, Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Legal and Compliance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Ecomm, IT, Retail, Finance, and Real Estate.
The EBSM will keep management informed of system updates, process changes, and improvement opportunities. Building and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholder groups is a critical aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate would have expertise in project management, managing a team, and Workfront advanced reporting, resource management, and system administration.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Bridge business and technology to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Provide guidance, support, and management to business system analysts
  • Implement and manage processes supported by tools such as Workfront and AEM and understand the system capabilities
  • Support project management system (Workfront);
    • Implement new teams, process, and projects
    • Advise system architecture and hierarchy enterprise-wide
    • Provide user support for questions and troubleshooting
    • Serve as subject matter expert to optimize user experience and functionality
    • Ensure systems are maintained and utilizing new features and advancements
    • Understand changes to the Workfront beta/production functionality
    • Help manage release cycles and educate users on upcoming changes
    • Knowledge of Workfront Advanced Reporting
    • System Administration, API, and Fusion Experience
    • Implement changes and communicate updates to business as needed
    • Manage data structure, accuracy, and complex reporting
    • Partner with IT to improve content supply chain, system automation/integration
    • Monitor the success of system and process changes post-implementation
  • Identify technology gaps needed to improve work efficiency and write business requirements to work with IT
  • Implement improvements, including communication, standard operating procedures and/or work instructions
  • Communicate process improvement changes, issues, and risks to various groups
  • Drive collaboration within the teams and inspire them to think innovatively
  • Manage multiple stakeholders needs and reach consensus by adjusting different conflicts and interests.
  • Proven ability to:
    • Lead a team of professionals who can interact across all levels and functions of the organization effectively
    • Establish credibility and influence with stakeholders

Requirements

Education & Experience
  • Bachelors' Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Adobe Workfront System Administrator and preferably Workfront Core Developer Certified
  • Proficiency in advanced reporting, text mode, and understanding of Fusion Automation
  • Experience with Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, Excel
  • Market interests and awareness for tools, consumer trends, and retail trends
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment with consistently shifting priorities

The anticipated salary range for this position is $109,500 – $164,300 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
