WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Enterprise Account Executive at Sounding Board embodies seasoned, competitive, and self-motivated sales professionalism. Continuously exceeding quota expectations and is capable of forging strategic alliances to deliver unparalleled value to our clients.

Your primary objective will be driving new business, securing new clients, and adding new logos to our customer base. You'll play a pivotal role in identifying promising business prospects, nurturing leads, and sealing deals to not only meet but exceed our ambitious sales targets. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with executives and strategic stakeholders of our target companies, leading to high-impact outcomes and exciting results.

We're seeking a candidate experienced in selling Software and Services, ideally within early-stage companies, to deliver an integrated platform to the market. The ideal candidate will excel in seizing opportunities, forming enduring partnerships, and managing the entire sales process from outreach to closure.

If you have a background in services and/or software sales in HCM, HRtech, or engagement technologies, along with a proven track record of exceeding targets and rapidly generating substantial business pipelines, we want to hear from you.

Additional Enterprise Account Executive responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop an engagement strategy to drive new logo acquisition among enterprise companies.
  • Act as both a 'Hunter' and 'Consultative Sales Professional'.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the enterprise sales lifecycle and effectively manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Lead prospects through a creative and complex solution selling process.
  • Take full ownership of your pipeline, including forecasting and surpassing goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer experience, implementation, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate resilience and tenacity in overcoming sales process obstacles, approaching challenges proactively and with unwavering determination to achieve results.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS DO I NEED?

  • Proven sales success in early-stage companies with $5M to $20M annual recurring revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and grow businesses, expanding into new markets and launching innovative products.
  • Self-starter with the autonomy to work independently and overcome obstacles.
  • Proficient in communicating with and influencing C-suite executives.
  • Skilled in leveraging results-oriented sales methods for ROI delivery.
  • Detail-oriented with strong relationship-building skills, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills vital for effectively communicating the value proposition, addressing objections, and securing a commitment.
  • Dedication to enhancing client experience, understanding buyer motivations, and seeking engagement opportunities.
  • Highly organized and persistent in managing high-volume pipelines across multiple stages.
  • Resourceful and proactive problem solver, adept at removing roadblocks independently.
  • Relationship-focused, quickly establishing rapport and winning over customers.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years of quota-carrying experience in large enterprise software, services and solution sales.
  • Experience in software sales, particularly in selling to enterprise-level clients through HR, Learning, or People & Talent functions. Preferably, SaaS or other HR-tech software.
  • Experience in proficiently engaging with C-Suite Executives; SVP, VP, particularly Chief Human Resources Officers, Chief People Officers, or Chief Learning Officers.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota and key metrics, with a history of closing deals in the 6-figure range.
  • Familiarity with CRM reporting and forecasting tools such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-caliber presentation abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and refine sales strategies in response to the challenges of a startup selling environment.
