About the Role

As an Account Executive at WorkBright, you will be responsible for closing deals and carrying a quota. This includes engaging in new leads through outbound call efforts, qualifying inbound leads, and working these opportunities from discovery to a closed-won status. Success in this role requires enthusiasm and a hunter-mentality, as significant time will be spent cultivating prospects, following up on leads generated from marketing programs, as well as independent prospecting and other lead generation strategies.

This role draws from the AE's extensive experience selling software solutions to executives at client companies, and requires a high level of discernment in the tactics and strategies used in the sales cycle to close deals that have a significant financial impact on WorkBright.

The AE will be responsible for building and managing a specific territory. The AE's success will be measured by the number of qualified appointments set up, sales opportunities created and closed-won revenue within your target market. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating a sales database, tracking all leads and sales activity, and providing regular reports to management.

About You

You have had success selling a SaaS product, maybe even an HR or payroll service, with contract values of at least $100,000. You are someone who is highly motivated and proactive. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You are comfortable closing high value deals. You are organized, prompt, and punctual, and you can work well under pressure and meet deadlines. You have strong interpersonal skills and can build client relationships with multiple stakeholders, providing support and solutions with grace and ease. You enjoy independently developing account plans and strategies, making independent decisions in answering questions and explaining how our product will benefit the client. You have a strong technical aptitude and can learn and understand our products and services to identify sales opportunities, drive revenue for the company, and provide effective solutions to our customers. You are ambitious and driven, with a strong desire to succeed in sales.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responsible for building and managing leads across a specific territory
  • Qualify inbound leads, convert to opportunity, and work towards closed-won
  • Build/manage lead development, and opportunity pipelines based on both inbound/outbound lead generation strategies focusing on high-level decision makers within the prospect organization
  • Facilitate discovery calls and demos, while working the full sales cycle from lead generation to answering high level client questions to negotiating commercial agreements
  • Liaise with WorkBright's product team to facilitate technical integration conversations throughout the sales cycle
  • Serve as a product expert and trusted guide within the HR onboarding and compliance space to create and demonstrate value for prospects
  • Create a great first impression with prospects by providing them with a premier experience
  • Achieve or exceed goals for qualified leads, opportunity creation, and closed-won revenue
  • Partner with Marketing Department with special projects and launches to further optimize software product
  • Employ different strategies as necessary to serve clients and close deals, this includes regular travel to on-site client meetings
  • Attend trade shows and exhibits as a WorkBright sales representative

Necessary Skills

  • Past experience with closing deals up to $100k contract value range
  • Previous experience in HR or payroll SaaS B2B sales is highly preferred
  • Comfortable and willing to respond to client needs from phone calls, video conferences, in-person meetings, and other forms in client engagement (dinners, gifts, etc).
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
  • Organized with ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Passionate about sales, software, mobile and technology.
  • High energy with a 'make-it-happen' attitude.
  • Motivated and results driven, can own a quota and exceed it.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fast learner with the ability to independently solve problems through research and hustle.
  • Experimental and analytical with the ability to analyze a process, trying new things, and measuring the results in search of ways to improve a process.
  • Ability to influence and persuade
  • Self-confident, self-directed, forward thinking, detailed-oriented.

Travel

  • While we are a remote organization, travel will be required for trade shows and company offsites (6-8 times per year).

WHAT WE OFFER YOU: COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 with a commission plan
  • This is a full time, exempt position
