Enterprise Account Executive

Portnox is fast-growing VC-backed cybersecurity company market selling a must-have product. Portnox offers cloud-native zero trust access control and cybersecurity essentials that enable agile, resource-constrained IT teams to proactively address today’s most pressing security challenges. By eliminating the need for any on-premises footprint common among traditional information security systems, Portnox allows companies—no matter their size, geo-distribution, or networking architecture—to deploy, scale, enforce and maintain these critical zero trust security policies with unprecedented ease.
We are seeking a dynamicEnterprise Account Executive based in the US to join our team. As an Enterprise Account Executive (EAE), you will play a crucial role in driving growth by acquiring new customers and expanding our market presence. You'll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, leveraging inbound leads while also proactively generating new opportunities through outbound activities. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of our solutions, excellent relationship-building skills, and a knack for articulating the value proposition to key decision-makers.
While this role is primarily remote, we do get together every so often and would prefer candidates in North Carolina or Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employ a consultative solution sales approach to create value for customers.
  • Prioritize and manage opportunities effectively, allocating resources appropriately.
  • Acquire new accounts and nurture existing ones to foster growth.
  • Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Exceed targets for pipeline generation and revenue.
  • Drive proactive relationship selling and outbound prospecting to self-generate pipeline opportunities.
  • Guide qualified opportunities through the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-sale handoff.
  • Deliver compelling remote or in-person presentations and product demos to senior stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Portnox solutions and the network and endpoint security market.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop innovative methods and strategies for achieving monthly revenue goals.
  • Establish a reputation as a trusted resource in customer interactions, fostering positive relationships.
  • Represent the company and its offerings at trade shows and industry events.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Demonstrated success in enterprise and mid-market sales within the networking or IT security sector.
  • 5 years of experience selling SaaS solutions, with a focus on cybersecurity or IT management.
  • Strong technical proficiency in networking environments and IT security challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
