Job Summary/Basic Function:About This Role:
The Enrollment Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the Division of Enrollment Management with a variety of third-party systems, reporting applications and databases – including, but not limited to, Ellucian Banner, Evisions Argos reporting solution, Banner Document Management System (BDMS), CampusLogic, National Student Loan Data System for Students reporting system and other systems used within the Student Aid office. The primary focus for this position is to support the functional users through administration, systems analysis, and process development. The EM Analyst will also provide troubleshooting and technical support for all systems utilized within Student Aid. We look for motivated individuals with a demonstrated aptitude for technology, a customer service mentality and the willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies.
This position is expected to provide analysis, consultation, documentation and serve as the primary functional contact for all software solutions. This is accomplished by gathering and assessing information to define requirements, developing procedures, developing test plans, creating reports, querying data, and attending meetings related to system updates or implementation. Other duties include attending conferences, seminars and training sessions. This position requires occasional after hours and/or weekend support of operations.
What You’ll Do – Position Duties
As a member of our team, you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:
- Provide functional leadership for aid software systems within Student Aid.
- Stay aware of all upcoming Banner updates/patches and how they impact the current environment
- Prepare project status reports and keep management, users, and others informed of project status and related issues
- Create weekly Excel dashboards with pivot tables for data reporting
- Meet with users and staff to determine the impact of proposed changes in hardware or software for users
- Participate in the planning of upgrades to the ERP system (Ellucian Banner) as well as student aid software including the evaluation of the effort involved, the steps required, and the distribution of information related to operational changes
- Perform analysis and design by meeting with functional users to discuss business needs; documenting requirements and risks
- Serves as a liaison between Student Aid, Information Technology (IT) technical staff and Management Information Analysis (MIA) group.
- Responds to request for complex queries from the ERP, gathers, compiles and performs initial data analysis; develops systematic documentation of computer applications written for the Student Aid offices.

- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Minimum of three years of related experience or at least ten years of directly related experience will be considered
- Capability to perform in a dynamic and team-oriented environment is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate project status and provide leadership and direction for assigned initiatives
- Ability to work with functional business units and coordinate technological solutions to meet business needs
- Strong desktop automation skills including effective use of excel spreadsheets and the ability to use tools in conjunction with databases
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors and the public are required.
- Strong written, oral and organizational skills
- Strong functional knowledge of the Banner ERP System in the Student Aid modules is preferred
