Established in 1871 and operated by the Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, Incarnate Word Academy is a private, independent, non-profit 501(c)3 Catholic school educating approximately 500 students from age three through grade twelve within Corpus Christi and the surrounding communities. We are currently seeking an Enrollment and Alumni Manager.
The Enrollment & Alumni Manager leads, manages and evaluates the student admissions process and is responsible for creating and implementing programs designed to maximize student retention, prospective family recruitment, and Alumni engagement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate the student admissions process from initial inquiry and enrollment through graduation
Provide tours, schedule shadow days, and meet with current and prospective parents to encourage and facilitate enrollment through relationship building, promotion and communication.
Collaborate with departmental employees and other campus entities to provide a comprehensive source of enrollment information for the campus
Work with the Student Information System Specialist (SIS Specialist) to maintain appropriate admission statistics and monitor the admission process
Analyze, evaluate, and report on all recruitment efforts, statistics, measures, and outcomes for the school’s admissions plan
Work with the SIS Specialist to create reports for school administrators
Prepare Enrollment and re-enrollment packets for the following school year
Educate and enlist faculty and staff to assist where needed in the admission process Engage and inform prospective parents and students about Incarnate Word Academy and the benefits of an IWA education on an individual, small, and large group basis, and continue to communicate as needed to encourage movement from inquiry to enrollment
Coordinate and lead volunteer committees as needed to plan, coordinate, implement, and report on enrollment programs and special events (including Angel Check In, IWA Open house, Angel Expo, and more)
Plan, execute, and evaluate appropriate systems to facilitate family visits, student testing, and interviewing
Visit schools, businesses, parishes to advance enrollment/recruitment efforts
Stay current on curriculum and other vital information needed to give effective tours for all grades across the campus
Build a network of “parent ambassadors” who will assist with community outreach and student recruitment
Develop, implement, and evaluate short and long-term plans to target, nurture, enroll, and retain students
Work with principals to identify potential solutions for students considered “at-risk” for continued enrollment due to academic, financial, or other reasons
Works with SIS Specialist to coordinate the re-enrollment process for current students
Engage in exit-interviews with students and families
Engage alumni through various means of communication, programs, and initiatives
Plan and execute distinguished alumni recognition program
Coordinate homecoming initiatives related to alumni engagement
Support alumni reunions and provide campus tours
Build relationships with alumni to increase both volunteer participation and financial support
Promote alumni activities and accomplishments
Coordinate content for alumni social media and marketing
Update alumni contact information in the database
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience with CRM software
Capacity to initiate and nurture relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and courteously
Experience in planning and managing special events, including ability to identify, train, and work with volunteers
Strong writing, planning, and organizational skills
High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information
Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and Google
Must be a proactive, self-starter
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
Minimum of 5 years management experience required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Full-time position - 40 hours per week
Evening and weekend time may be required
Occasional travel may be required
Long hours of sitting and using computer and office equipment

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
