Engineering Tech:

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum
• 2 years of Experience/Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes preferred

Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies

• Ability to effectively interact and communicate both written and verbally with internal customers
• Knowledge of Fact Finding & Analysis Methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, including GD&T
• Proficient with Computers (Office Software)
• Evaluate Blue Prints comparing old revision to new revisions for changes
• Engineering Router creation and maintenance
• Read and Evaluate technical specifications comparing old revisions to new revisions for changes
• Full Execution of Product Quotes
• Identify outside processes and materials needed; work with Materials Department for accurate pricing
• Work with Customer Service for receiving requests for quotes, customer questions, sending quotes, and follow up with customers
• Work with Product Development Engineers and programmers to establish cost effective process for timely estimates
• File Management of all quotes, change orders and related documents
