CNC Applications Engineers and Technicians need in Wixom, Michigan.

A multinational company with a facility in the Wixom, Michigan area is currently seeking several experienced CNC Programmers / Applications Engineers and Technicians for long-term opportunities with their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC Programmers looking to take the next step in their career by working directly with customers, setting up a variety of advanced multi-axis CNC machinery for different applications, and looking for excellent training and growth opportunities.

CNC Applications Engineers and Technicians rates are between $35 to $50/hour based on each candidate’s experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours.

Qualified CNC Programmers/Application Engineers and Technicians will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:

• Experience with CNC programming, use of CAM software, G&M coding, setups, tooling/cutter selections, operations.
• Solid skills with part processing from start to finish, fixturing, speeds / feeds, material properties, etc.
• Experience with CMM reports, blueprints, GD&T, making machine fixture and tooling adjustments/offsets.
• Any combination of experience with lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, multi-axis, multi-spindles, along with any experience interfacing with robotics, automation, auto-loaders, bar-feeders, auxiliary equipment is preferred.
• Able to effectively communicate with engineering, quality, machinists, vendors and clients.
• Must be able to travel up to 35% overnight.
• Must be able to pass background checks, screenings, etc.
