Seeking an InHouse Service Technician or Service Engineerfor a direct hire opportunity with a high-tech international company delivering innovative laser technology solutions to Automotive, Aerospace, Medical and Scientific research communities.

Pay rate is between $30 - $32/h (based on experience) or let us know what you desire
Generous 10k-15k relocation package (which includes 4-8 weeks apartment or extended stay hotel and 6-8 weeks car rental) for suitable candidates that are willing to relocate for the position
Responsibilities for In HouseService Technician or Service Engineer
- Resolving technical and operational problems for customers and Field Service Engineers remotely by utilizing proper diagnostic resources.
- Work closely with other Product Support Engineers, Administrative Assistance, Schedulers and Service Supervisor.
- Approximately 75% of time will be focused on phone support assisting both customer and Field Service Engineers
- Utilize remote diagnostics capabilities to assist and help fix customers machines
- Work with service schedulers for coordinating correct field support
- Understand technical documentation, schematics and blue prints to utilize them during telephone support
- Update and close cases/missions upon review and completion of service calls
- Any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications for In HouseService Technician or Service Engineer
- Two year technical degree in engineering or related field preferred, or combination of training and work experience
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in customer service, with technical concentration preferred
- Experience with laser cutting equipment s highly preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP software and other computer skills preferred
- Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
