Location: Redmond, WA
Pay: $78/hr-$82/hr
12 Month Contract with possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an intake process for new requests using a trackable system.
- Collaborate with department managers and requestors to prioritize projects effectively.
- Establish a comprehensive planning process for workflow organization, covering all project phases from design to build.
- Oversee project execution, including task assignment, progress tracking, communication, and reporting.
- Lead efforts in organizing and managing systems for part and project tracking.
- Coordinate project timelines and manage contractor work as needed.
- Handle outsourcing of parts and services for builds and recommend process improvements.
- Manage deadlines with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring efficient and quality outcomes.
- Apply your understanding of production, prototyping, and fabrication processes to support team functions and growth.
- Manage vendor onboarding, purchase orders, and budget planning.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven project management experience.
- Deep understanding of production, prototyping, and fabrication processes, including time, cost, and quality trade-offs.
- An open mindset, eagerness to solve problems, creativity, and smart working approach.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience, with at least a Bachelor's degree.
Good to Have:
- Experience in vendor onboarding and creating purchase orders.
- Proficiency in using task management systems.
- Budget planning expertise.
- PMI or PMP certification is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Certified Project Management preferred.
- Highly organized, adaptable to changing scope and project priorities.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
- Knowledgeable in the use of task management systems.
- Flexible approach to work hours and able to adapt to daily project changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. PMI or PMP certification is a plus.
