Engineering Intern

As an Engineering Intern at Oxbo, you will be working in a fast-paced environment applying your engineering skills on complex, innovative harvesting machinery built on-site. You will expand your engineering knowledge as a member of an engineering team at our Clear Lake, WI facility with real responsibility and meaningful work. This position is hands-on, providing opportunities to build, test, and optimize the prototypes you develop in the office.

Job Duties

• Problem solving, root cause analysis, and solution implementation
• Application of engineering principles to new and existing designs
• Design and documentation projects with a product-based team
• CAD modeling and drafting using Solidworks
• Exposure to manufacturing operations that include steel sheet and plate laser cutting and forming, welding, machining, and painting, as well as final assembly
• Test plan creation and execution, including time spent in the field

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
• Experience using SOLIDWORKS or other 3D solid modeling software
• Self-motivated
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communications and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and fabrication methods
• Demonstrated interest in working with machinery/equipment
