Job Description: Job Description As a member of MST's UICC Test Group, the candidate will be responsible for System-level testing of Modem-UICC interface and validation on mobile devices supporting 5G/LTE/WCDMA mobile technologies and multiple smartphones operating systems. Job responsibilities include system-level testing of Modem-UICC features and other modem features impacting the UICC interface, test planning, test development, test execution, analysis, troubleshooting, and test automation.
System-level test scenarios spread across multiple technologies 5G, LTE, IMS, VoLTE, VoNR shall be covered as part of Modem UICC interface testing. User-initiated and UICC initiated Voice, Data, and SMS calls are part of the test scenarios. The candidate will be responsible for verifying the above scenarios for mobile devices in Single SIM and Dual SIM configurations. Candidates will get opportunities to explore embedded SIM and integrated-SIM technologies.
Our test tool are used for log collection and analysis. Candidates will be using 5G and LTE test systems provided by Key Sight, R&S, and Anritsu.
The candidate will be working with a multi-discipline team to test and commercialize chipsets and software. Close interaction will be required with the software development group, application engineering group, and Program Management to ensure test coverage and suggest system-level optimizations.
Skills/Experience Skills/Experience: 3 years or more experience in Mobile Test Engineering capacity.
Candidate should possess knowledge on 5G, LTE protocol knowledge including IMS, VoLTE/VoNR.
Having SIM/USIM/UICC interface protocol knowledge including USIM Application Toolkit is an added qualification.
Understanding smartphone operating systems like Android and Windows is required.
Knowledge in Python, Java, and C++ is required for Test automation skills.
Additional Skills Additional Skills:
Exposure to 5G and LTE Network test systems provided by Key Sight, R&S, and Anritsu.
Handset test experience with network operators or with commercial handset OEMs is a plus.
Exposure to eSIM technology is an added qualification.
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electronics and Telecommunication or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Electronics and Telecommunication or equivalent experience
