Position Purpose:
The Supply Chain Packaged Software Sr Engineer will provide functional and technical support to users of the Demand Forecasting Inventory Optimization (DFIO) application from Manhattan Associates. Understands content, processes and procedures associated with maintaining and implementing DFIO. Works production support issues, writes functional requirements, develops, and implements test plans. Serves as a subject matter expert associated in the DFIO functional areas. Understands common business analysis tools and methodologies and can apply them to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the process of gathering and documenting user/project requirements.
- Responsible for providing expertise and best practice recommendations to operations staff.
- Must have an excellent functional knowledge of Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems, as well as the business processes that are required.
- Must be able to perform support for the Manhattan DFIO application which includes after hours support, incident support, understanding error messages, know how to identify data errors, and understand common processing errors.
- Responsible for creating system test plans and then ultimately performing system testing.
- Responsible for following change management requirements, such as creating change requests in the Service Now application as needed.
- Must have the ability to analyze current business processes and build current process model diagrams and make recommendations on changes to improve process.
- Required to track time using time reporting software.

Location:
- GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years' (5+ preferred) experience as an Application Business Analyst preferred.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Knowledgeable in the areas of Supply Chain (specifically Demand Forecasting and Replenishment).
- SQL query knowledge.
- Familiar with the PL/SQL programming language a plus.
- AIX/Unix or Linux Knowledge.
- Java, Spring Boot a plus.
- Google Cloud GCP a plus.
