Summary:
Maintains, monitors, designs, and supports IT and End User Compute infrastructure with critical reliability and maximum uptime. Position will be responsible for the overall Workstation Architecture design, implementation and support for the enterprise. Ability to engineer multiple applications. Performs technical functions including supporting, evaluating, implementing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems for an Enterprise Compute environment. Maintains a high level of service on Desktop production systems and anticipates future requirements, trends, and changes to assure current and future customer satisfaction. Performs a variety of technical functions including testing and installing software and hardware. Performs troubleshooting of operating system problems utilizing management consoles and other troubleshooting tools. Tests and evaluates various equipment, systems, and procedures for use within the network. Assists in creating and maintaining graphical and text-based documentation and standards development. Assists in configuring and implementing monitoring and management systems. Evaluates new software and hardware that will enhance the End User Compute environment. Available 24x7 for on-call rotation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Systems Analyst for Enterprise Compute Administration infrastructure support
- Monitor, Analyze, Support, and Troubleshoot End User Compute implemented infrastructure
- Design, implement, and engineer End User Compute security standards, policies, and procedures pertaining to Windows OS, group policy, software, and device imaging
- Recommend and develop integration standards, guidelines, and best practices for End User Compute
- Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates)
- Create and maintain infrastructure standards documentation as it relates to infrastructure systems design, configuration, support, and processes
Qualifications:
Required Education: Associates Degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Information Technology
Required Experience:
- 3+ years experience - well experienced in Microsoft OS, SCCM, Group Policy, and PC Imaging administration activities
- 2+ years of Engineering Specialist experience.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years experience - well experienced in Microsoft OS, SCCM, Group Policy, and PC Imaging administration activities
- 2+ years of Engineering Specialist experienc
- Experience with Active Directory and Network fundamentals, protocols (such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS), Group Policy and Profile Management. Desktop and application integration with Window 7, Windows 10 including login script, registry and other related application integration and troubleshooting skill
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with executives, enterprise-wide and group management, peers, and outside vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, organizational skills, and ability to analyze business problems and opportunities.
- Strong ability to work on and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
