During your co-op, you will gain experience and exposure to practical engineering applications within the utility industry. Co-ops work alongside experienced engineers and will perform a variety of projects and assignments that have specific instructions and expected results.
Responsibilities
- Learn to use TaskOp, GeoGraphix and WellShadow program and assist with updates
- Assist with electronic and paper data organization
- Spend time in field on well project work
- Work alongside teammembers to spend time in field on well logging project
- Assist with processing of project invoices
- Assist with preparing well plugging affidavits
- Attend Gas Safety Focus team meetings
- Spend time at each storage field location to learn about Gas Storage operations
- Assist with Inventory Verification calculations
- Spend approximately 30% of time in field on project work
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
Available full time during the Summer 2024, and part time during the fall semester.
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with declared major in Chemical, Mining or Petroleum Engineering
Minimum 2.50 GPA
