Key Responsibilities:
The Engine Asset Manager is responsible to manage assigned fleet of engines/APUs and to ensure spare availability at point of need and to communicate effectively with stakeholders. They manage scheduled removals, support unscheduled removals, Build work instructions at both the EBU and supplier and manage allocation.
- Daily reviews of assigned fleet of engines/APUs
- Participate in the PIC committee and produce required documentation for engine repair process
- Provide project management for engine "programs" (hardware upgrade/replacement, etc.) to mitigate operational impact
- Forecasting, research, analysis, reporting, project management, etc
- Manage Spare forecasts and prepare program review updates
- Provides forecasts to Powerplant Vendor Management for use in determining budgets, in coordination with the engine vendor management team
- Build Time items sheets and set ERBU Priorities

What's needed to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business or 4 year of relevant work experience
- 3+ years' experience in aircraft or engine maintenance
- Knowledge of jet engine maintenance including overhaul events
- Detailed understanding of jet engine components
- Ability to read and understand maintenance requirements
- Strong business acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Understanding of the Engine Planning systems
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
