It Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchase orders, engaging

equipment vendors, and ensuring IT inventory levels are being met. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role will be 100% onsite and will have occasional remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the procurement process for IT assets, including generating purchase orders, obtaining quotes from vendors, and negotiating pricing and terms.
2. Collaborate with various departments to assess their IT asset needs and develop procurement strategies to meet those needs.
3. Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including serial numbers, warranties, and license agreements.
4. Conduct regular audits of IT inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
5. Work closely with equipment vendors to resolve any issues or concerns related to purchases, deliveries, or warranties.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of IT assets.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to IT Asset Management.
8. Provide support and guidance to other team members on IT Asset Management best practices and procedures.
9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in IT Asset Management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
10. Assist with special projects and initiatives related to IT Asset Management, as
11. needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Asset Management or procurement.
• Strong understanding of IT hardware and software products.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT Asset Management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
