Asset Manager (Pathways Recent Graduate)

You will receive training and developmental assignments designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to perform at the target position (Asset Manager, GS-12).  

Position Location: Public Buildings Service, Portfolio Management Division.

The GS-09 salary range starts at $59,966 per year. Salary is determined by the location for which you are selected. 

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.  

To qualify for the GS-9 level, you must demonstrate that you meet one of the following: 
 
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level of the Federal service. Specialized experience is assisting in the asset business planning and financial analysis for commercial office buildings. This experience typically includes:

• Gathering data to assist in the development of operating budget and budget targets;
• Reviewing financial performance data and investment alternatives;
• Gathering data to assist in the development of short term and long term real property asset management strategies; and
• Participating in asset business planning meetings with management officials and key stakeholders.

OR

You must possess a master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. 

OR

You may qualify based on a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
