Job Duties
Assist in the development and execution of projects that support the accelerated deployment of low-carbon, low-cost integrated Energy Systems. Duties: lead technical work on the Veritas collaboration, coordinate with segment leads and technical team to ensure execution of workstreams and set technical goals; work as Principal investigator on DOE funded project "Storage Tank Emissions Assessments and Quantification", coordinate with other DOE project leads, and engage and inform operators for site access; conduct analysis in support of methane emissions measurement and mitigation solutions development; develop ideas and projects in support of the Zero Emissions Systems Team; contribute ideas and support team-mates within ZEST; help establish GTI Energy as center of gravity for decarbonization technical expertise, especially methane mitigation, life-cycle analysis, and carbon accounting; be a regular presence at conferences and workshops to raise awareness of GTI Energy's work and expertise; conduct analysis of technology pathways, decision points, barriers, and opportunities around energy transitions; engage externally with strategic partners across industry, academia, government, and NGO's.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Energy, Environmental, or Civil Engineering with 5 years experience with energy system operations, including applying Energy Systems analysis to long-term energy challenges, integrating new energy technologies, and scenario/pathway analysis. In lieu of bachelor's plus 5 years experience, Master's degree in Energy, Environmental, or Civil Engineering with 2 years experience with energy system operations, including applying Energy Systems analysis to long-term energy challenges, integrating new energy technologies, and scenario/pathway analysis.

$129,000-134,000
