All about the role:

The EMS - Continuous Improvement Engineersupports the Fletcher, NC Distribution Centre in implementing leanmanufacturing principles (Electrolux Manufacturing System), leading continuousimprovement processes, problem solving, training and employee involvement.  In addition, they will lead and direct thechange agents in the development and delivery of educational programs, trainingcourse and certification classes to maintain best practices that align with theoverall mission and vison of the organization.

What you'll do:   

In this role you will drive EMS deployment across theoperation while implementing lean tools and standards to achieve the objectivesfor quality, cost, safety, deliveries, and environmental sustainability. Trackthe status of implementation of EMS at the site and ensure that the leancertification processes are adhered to. Develop and maintain KPI's, visualmanagement and signage to global EMS standards. Ensure all EMS training andimprovement activities are according to the globally defined standards. Collaborateswith leadership team to identify process improvement opportunities within theirdepartments. Conduct training for Change Agents and sponsors within factories. Promotelean manufacturing best practice sharing across the operation includingbenchmarking other Electrolux sites. Co-drive the EMS cultural changemotivating and empowering all employees. Support Reno, NV DC in EMS journey asneeded.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in, one or more of the following, Engineering/Lean Manufacturing/ Logistics/Supply Chain/Production/ Project Management
  • Min. 2 - 5 years of Manufacturing or Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Fully proficient in written and verbal English
  • Willing and able to travel to other sites for events and trainings 25% of the time.
  • Lean certification preferred
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
