SalaryAreté Engineers, PLLC is a professional services firm located in Blowing Rock, NC and Morganton, NC. We provide engineering services to state DOT’s, municipal agencies, residential and commercial clients. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time GIS Specialistposition.
Specifically, the GIS Specialist should have experience in GIS analysis processes. This includes the ESRI suite of ArcGIS products including Explorer, ESRI Collector, and Survey 123 and experience in the knowledge of Data Management as it relates to Asset Management and Geospatial applications.
The GIS Specialist will:
· Provide Technical oversite, direction, and application programming in the areas of data, technology, and geospatial services.
· Develop, Design, and support NCDOT Data and GIS applications.
Related Skills/Certifications:
· GIS Specialists should have experience in GIS analysis
· Experience in the ESRI Suite of ArcGIS - Including Explorer, ESRI Collector, and Survey 123
· Knowledge of Data Management as it relates to Asset Management and Geospatial applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
