Form of workAbout the Position: Serves as the Chief of Emergency Management Branch and as principal advisor to the Commander on all matters relating to natural and technology disasters and national security emergencies, civil disturbances, and terrorism activities. Responsible for managing the District Emergency Programs.Qualifications:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: providing program advice and recommendations to leadership and staff as needed, on a wide array of program issues including policy applications, project eligibility and program execution for operational readiness and response activities pursuant to public laws, regulations and disaster assistance authority of USACE, Department of Defense, Department of the Army (DA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and other Federal Agencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-12).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
