Your Role
The Manager of Employment Practices is responsible for matters related to employment compliance practices and reporting. In this role, the manager leads and supports project teams to direct the development, implementation, and administration of employment compliance initiatives and processes which comply with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. This role oversees the program management of employment eligibility verification, employment notices, and compliance audits and reporting, to educate/advise partners and identify areas of improvement.

Your Impact
- Support preventing harassment and anti-discrimination and promote diversity, equity and inclusion by demonstrating and supporting administrative operational excellence during the candidate hiring and associate onboarding processes.
- Support for the self-identification processes, including Settlement-related DEI data.
- Implementation and business education of employment compliance practices in relation to the employment application and distribution of disclosures processes (Pay Transparency, Pay Equity, FCRA, self-identification, and employment agreements).
- Oversee Federal Form I-9 Employment Verification and EVerify program management, education, and audit reporting.
- Oversee program management of employment forms/notices and required employment postings.
- Develop, modify, and maintain Employment Practices compliance to support federal, state and local, and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with business leaders, key stakeholders, and HR partners to address specific concerns and ensure these efforts comply with legal.
- Maintain knowledge of developments, trends, and best practices in employment eligibility administration and employment notices, including federal and state legal changes.
- Develop solutions that are practical to execute and integrated into company policies, talent management/associate relations practices and/or business operations.
- Ensure solutions are executed through simple, consistent, technology-enabled processes and sustained through shared accountability.
- Develop communication materials to educate associates on employment policies and procedures.
- Identify and advocate for system enhancements to mitigate risk and/or enhance end-user experience.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop plans to increase efficiencies.
- Manage direct reports by aligning goals, providing direction, coaching, performance management and recognition, and supporting development.

Maximum Salary: $112,665.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Your Experience
- Project Management: Manage medium to large scale projects, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining operational day-to-day coordination.
- Relationship Building: Build and foster effective relationships with business partners across multiple functions.
- Self-starter who can flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution
- Analytical Thinking: Analyze business needs and resolve issues with innovation and creativity.
- Communication: Communicate well at all levels of the organization - written and verbal.

Additional Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Human Resources or Legal Compliance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably focused on human resources, training and/or business operations.
- In depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience developing recommendations based on results of statistical and data analysis.
- Experience managing projects.
- Experience leading direct reports, cross-functional teams, and vendor relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and familiarity with HR systems preferred.
- Minimal travel (up to 4 times per year).
