About the RoleThe Employee Communications Specialist plays a key role to support internal communications efforts and initiatives and provide counsel across the business. This position writes, edits, proofs and assists with the production process for content published throughout Enterprise Mobility’s internal communications channels. This position partners with various support areas of the organization, acting as a liaison and providing communications planning and support. This position also conducts interviews with team members of all levels and geographies, including senior management, provides communications recommendations and assists with various initiatives and internal writing assignments. This position is on the Global Corporate Communications team based out of our worldwide headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This team embraces a hybrid work schedule with typically 3 days in the office each week after an initial on-boarding period. Responsibilities Write, edit and proof various communications for the Employee Communications teamPartner with operational support teams to align internal communications with overall departmental objectives, to include meeting regularly with leadership to discuss opportunities, acquiring a deep knowledge of the organization, developing a plan for supporting them with Employee Communications and managing the implementation of those plansSupport the efforts of various areas by seeking out ways to get messages about the company’s organization’s various programs/initiatives in front of employeesglobal team membersCollaborate with team to develop new ideas and content that meets the needs of business partners and the department, all while and adheringes to the standards established in the Enterprise Mobility StylebookProvide input and contribute to the team’s editorial calendar to ensure team is producing strategic and engaging articles for various digital channels, including the company intranet content and implementing innovative storytelling approaches, including for use on the company news appBuild and maintain positive, professional relationships with key internal clientsProvide support and help manage tools that measure the effectiveness of our messaging and publicationsProvide exceptional customer service related to the internal company news app's administrative tasks, including responding to team member inquiries, troubleshooting errors, managing permissions and identifying bugs to relay to the vendorOversee project management, production and governance of internal creative assets, including email banners, email templates and backgrounds for the team collaboration applicationCompile and distribute weekly recap email(s) to all global team membersSeek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal settingMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Minimum:Bachelor’s Degree (Communications, Journalism, English, or related field preferred)Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust have 2 or more years of journalistic or corporate writing experience with a strong emphasis in newspaper/magazine/online writing and reportingMust have experience with and thorough knowledge of Associated Press style and ability to adhere to its standards Must have project management experience Preferred:1 or more years of Agency or Corporate Communications experienceExperience in graphic designCompetency Based: Results-OrientedExecutingBuilding RelationshipsPlanning and OrganizingDetail-OrientedAnalyzingCommunicationFlexibility
