The BSN SPORTS Production/Warehouse team is looking for a team oriented, high energy Team Lead in Grand Prairie, TX.
2nd Shift Hours are from 3:00 PM-11:30 PM M-F + OT and Weekends as needed.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Team Lead is a critical role and is responsible for problem solving issues and supporting our Operations team members to remove roadblocks and solve problems to ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS:

• Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
• Communicate with team members to resolve issues to attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
• Be a champion of the department's SOPs. Coach and train team members on the SOP's for the department.
• Partner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourages team members to provide suggestions
• Works to ensure team members are thoroughly cross trained in multiple functions both within and outside department
• Identify and resolve small conflicts within department; works closely with Supervisor/Manager to resolve larger conflicts.

WHAT SKILLS YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Desire to learn/grow
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
• Great attention to detail and organization skills
• Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SAP a plus
• Flexibility to work varying shifts in support of the operation
• Thrives on solving problems in both traditional and creative ways

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

• HS Diploma or GED and/or 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
