QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently, calmly, accurately, and with attention to detail
• Good judgment, decision making, and time management skills
• Excellent rapport with Elementary School-aged students, staff, parents, and the public
• Trustworthy and confidential

• Organized, able to multi-task, and willing to work flexible hours at certain times of year
• Has a sense of humor and is friendly and customer service oriented

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Process purchase orders, reconcile office and program budget accounts, prepare cash boxes for events, prepare bank deposits, order and inventory office supplies
• Assist with student registration and orientation
• Assist principal's secretary with operating and staffing the school office
• Health aide for school
• Other related duties as assigned

PREFERRED:

• Associate's degree or higher in office management, business, or similar field
• Prior experience in human relations, office, or secretarial work, and in schools
• Demonstrated and excellent communication skills, including telephone and written communication
• Skilled and knowledgeable with use of office equipment and business software, such as computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, databases, interactive websites, Infinite Campus, Infinite Visions, Enrich, etc.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
