Dayton-Granger, Inc. DG has been in business for nearly 80 years as a leading supplier of avionic products to the aerospace industry with customers, including commercial airframe manufacturers, military program managers and general aviation aircraft manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- Test and inspect electrical and electronic assemblies, subassemblies and systems to assure conformance to blueprints, schematics for company and customer design specifications.
- Set-up, calibrate and operate a wide variety of test equipment.
- Collect test data and record information on data sheets when required by specifications.
- All aids, fixtures, tools, equipment and machinery used to accomplish the above responsibilities must be mastered in a way which will maximize quality and productivity.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Electronics or military training in RF communications preferred.
- General understanding of Electronics Testing and repairs
- Experience with test equipment such as network analyzers preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Great people skills to be able to interact with management, quality, engineering a well as employees on the shop floor.
- Be able to lift , push, pull up to 25 lbs.
- Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
