Job Description
Department: Quality
- Following documented procedures.
- Testing cables/harnesses utilizing automated test equipment and conducting minor troubleshooting.
- Pin Retention.
- Understanding of Schematics and wire run-list.
- Regularly maintain the calibration of tools and testing equipment.
- Documents and evaluates test results; detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches.
- Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors, reporting any issues through the appropriate channels.
- Offering recommendations to senior management regarding the results of a test.
- Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management skills.
- Ability to test assemblies using tools such as Anritsu Vector Network analyzers and signal generators.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
- Knowledge of ISO and other quality management systems and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and report product and quality issues.
- Experience in inspection and analytical skills.
- Understanding connector orientations and text fixtures.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze information and provide organized and detail-focused feedback.
- Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, or relevant experience.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
