Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Test Development &Support Engineerto join our growing team. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineering Test Development & Support will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative spacecraft solutions for internal and external customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities 

• Assist the Production Test Engineers and other staff members with test issues
• Review product requirements and implement the test system and procedures
• Define test plans, test specifications, test suites, and test cases design tools for unit, functional, and performance testing in a programmatic manner
• Improve and extend our testing APIs and infrastructure to aid the debugging process
• Collaborate with the design, operations, and IT teams to develop applications and test programs
• Provide Test Development/solutions for testing product electrical performance and product margins
• Evaluate the test instrumentation to be used in the production
• Collaborate directly with test fixture vendors in the design and validate test fixtures
• Write manufacturing test plans
• Implement and support software development for test systems
• Analyze the product features, review test parameters, create customized quality checks, and write up final test procedures for the technicians
• Meet with the design team to determine product testing parameters
• Write test plans for various product
• Troubleshoot any errors and streamline the testing procedures
• Write up the final test procedures for technicians
• Train and provide technical support when needed
• Prepare test reports for management
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• Previous work experience as a Test Engineer
• Familiarity with testing tools, Test Stand, and LabVIEW
• Knowledge of diagramming software, including Microsoft Visio
• Extensive knowledge of Engineering and Testing procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes
• Document technical issues and solutions

Salary Range $95,000 - $120,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands 

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

Work Environment 

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
