Electrical Engineer

Hours - Between 6:30am-4pm, no weekends, hours are flexible

We are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer capable of learning the existing product line and helping develop the next generation of upgraded equipment. This position will be a hands-on role where they are responsible for the design, construction, and testing.

Job Duties

• Communicate with Customers
• Full Design Specifications
• Designing Custom Machinery
• Designing and developing new custom thermal spray systems and components
• Debug and startup of in-house equipment and projects
• Troubleshooting over the phone with customers and to provide technical support
• System on-site installation and training
• System on-site calibration and certification
• Write technical product manuals and other documentation
• Develop products that comply with all pertinent industry design codes and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• PLC and HMI programming
• Experience in Program Logic Controllers
• Superior written and oral communication skills

Desired qualifications

• 1-5 years’ experience in electrical design and automation
• Experience with HMIs and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Project management experience
• Experience designing and testing to 3rd party standards (UL / CE)
• Working knowledge of power supply systems

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
