Position Overview:

This position is based in the picturesque city of Hot Springs, AR.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility).
- Experience working in heavy industrial environments is essential.
- Strong technical expertise in power distribution, electrical rooms, MCCs, VFDs, transmission, and heavy industrial power systems.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment specification.
- Proficient in the engineering and design process, including front end engineering, cost estimates, gated reviews, detailed engineering, and construction support.
- Experience in both brown field and green field projects.
- Proficiency in National Electrical Code.
- Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Comfortable with client-facing interactions and effective communication with project teams and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Support proposal preparation and scope development.
- Undertake engineering, designing, and technical tasks to facilitate the delivery of small to large heavy industrial projects.
- Manage project delivery across all phases, from concept to start-up, including construction and commissioning support.
- Conduct calculations, studies, and reports (e.g., grounding, lighting protection, load studies, arc flash).
- Develop equipment specifications for procurement.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (Civil/Structural, Mechanical) for design coordination.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and team members, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables consistent with project standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain regular correspondence with clients and external personnel.
- Offer short-term field support during construction.
- Contribute to power distribution design and Arc Flash reports.
